Ordering your Wedding Cake...

To ensure each wedding cake receives the love and attention to detail that it deserves, I only take on a limited amount of wedding cakes each month.  Peak wedding season dates can fill up fast so it is recommended to enquire as soon as possible, preferably 9 -12 months ahead of your wedding date.  I do sometimes have late availability so it is always worth asking.

 

Once you have set your date and are ready to start planning your cake, please contact me with your wedding date and venue to enquire about my availability. From there I will send you an enquiry form to find out a little more about your wedding such as guest numbers, wedding style, colours and aesthetics to ensure we are a good fit for each other.

Consultations

You will then be invited to schedule a meeting with me via Zoom, where we will discuss cake size, flavours, style of cake, colour scheme and sugar work required.  I will then email you an Initial Estimate for your cake, along with a sketched design (fondant cakes only).  If you would then like to move forward and book my services you can secure your date with payment of £100 deposit.  All further details will be communicated via email and you can relax in the lead up to your wedding knowing that your wedding cake is all in hand.  If a follow-up face to face Consultation is required, this can be arranged at a mutually convenient time closer to your wedding date.

Designing your Cake

To design your cake I take inspiration from your mood boards, Pinterest boards, colour palette, flowers, invites, or anything else that may be relevant or personal to you.  Your cake should fit perfectly with the aesthetics of your wedding and look stunning displayed at your venue on your big day, so it is helpful for me to have as much detail to hand as possible when designing your cake.  A sketch will then be emailed to you for approval before the final design is agreed.

Cake Tasting Boxes

If you would like to sample my cakes before securing your date, Cake Tasting Boxes are available to order every couple of months. Each box contains 6 of my most popular flavours for you to enjoy in the comfort of your own home.  Boxes are priced at £30 which is fully redeemed against your wedding cake if you then book with me and can be collected from my home at a pre-arranged time or delivery can be arranged (P&P charges apply)

 

Booking your Wedding Cake

A non-refundable deposit of £100 is required to secure your wedding date in my diary and this is fully redeemed against the final balance of your cake.  The remaining outstanding balance is then due 1 month prior to your Wedding Day.  

 

Save the Date

If you would love for me to make your wedding cake but aren't quite ready to start the design process, you can pay a non-refundable fee of £50 and we can arrange a consultation when you are ready.  This payment will be redeemed against your final Invoice

 

Cake Stand Hire

I have a selection of Cake Stands available for hire for a small fee of £10, plus a refundable holding deposit of £50-£100 depending on the cake stand chosen.  Cake display and set up will be discussed during your Consultation.

The big day has arrived! 

Due to the delicate nature of wedding cakes and sugar flowers, I will personally hand deliver and set your cake up at your venue.  Prior to your wedding day I will liaise with your Wedding Coordinator, Florist and Stylist to coordinate timings and your cake will be set up in your chosen spot at the venue, ensuring everything looks perfect for when you see your beautiful cake for the first time!
